LOCATE RING_GROUP

Qualifiers:

<number>

Purpose:

Locates the specified ring group.

Details:

The command results differ depending on whether the ring group pilot number is resilient or non-resilient. If the number is non-resilient, the system responds with the pilot number only. If the number is resilient, the response includes the primary and secondary Cluster Element ID and the routing digits of the ring group number.

The command also displays all local and remote members of the local ring group.

Examples:

Entry (non-resilient number) : LOCATE RING_GROUP 4000

System Response:

Pilot Number: 4000

Entry (resilient number) : LOCATE RING_GROUP 97200

System Response:

Pilot Number: 97200
Primary Element : LEID 97 - Routing Digits : 7097 *
Secondary Element : CEID 45 - Routing Digits : 7045

NOTE: In the example above, LEID is Local Element ID. The * indicates that this is the most recently known location that the primary element has for this directory number.
